Photos that celebrate the love and everyday magic of your family.


 

Whether you're looking for photos for a special occasion or simply to update your family pictures, these sessions are all about capturing what makes your family unique. There’s never any pressure, just time together, letting things unfold naturally while I gently guide you when needed.


I also occasionally offer mini sessions throughout the year, including first day of school and Christmas sessions, which are perfect for those shorter, seasonal updates. Dates and locations for these are regularly updated on my social media.

FAQ

 

Do you travel for photoshoots?

Yes! Before your family photoshoot, we’ll discuss the locations you’d like to use. I encourage you to consider places that hold meaning for you and your family, perhaps somewhere you already spend time together, so when you look back at the photos, they bring back fond memories. The right location helps make your session feel natural, comfortable and personal.

What if it rains?

While most people prefer a dry day for their photos (myself included), we need to be realistic! Living in Scotland means we can experience all four seasons in a single day. If it happens to rain on the day of your session, I will encourage you to embrace it. I’m always prepared with clear umbrellas so the shoot can go ahead. Of course, if there are any weather warnings, your session would be rescheduled to keep you and your family safe.

What should we wear?

Comfort comes first! Wear outfits that feel comfortable and showcase your family’s personality. Coordinating colors can be nice, but matching isn’t required. These are your photos, so they should reflect your family as you are.

What if my child doesn’t want to smile or follow instructions?

That’s completely normal! As a mum of two and a primary school teacher with over 12 years’ experience, I’ve been there myself and know how unpredictable little ones can be. Please take comfort in knowing there’s absolutely no judgment from me, only patience, understanding and support. I will always give your child space to relax and settle in, and if needed, I’ll step back and capture moments from a distance, allowing their natural personality to shine through.
